Sounds obvious, but the easiest way to conserve ink is only
to print what you need - keep records on your computer hard drive or a USB
stick to avoid unnecessary printing
Save colour - print in monochrome
If it's not for show, set your printer to print black only -
save the colour for when you really need it!
Avoid wasted space
If printing from a webpage, only print the bits you need.
Copy and paste text into your word processing program and you won't waste ink
on adverts!
Use your cartridges regularly
If the cartridges are left to rest, they will eventually dry
up. Make sure to use the cartridges in some capacity at least once every few
days to extend their useful life!
Use economy mode'
Most printers have an 'economy mode', or 'draft mode' which
uses less ink whilst still producing readable output. You can then switch back
to the standard mode for documents that need to look their best.
